How to Apply
If you wish to volunteer, either at the Yard Sale or Food Bank, or both, complete a membership application form. All applications must be approved by the board of Directors. Members in good standing are eligible to vote at membership meetings, to participate during the annual general meetings, and to stand election to the Board of Directors.
How to Donate
Your donations play a vital role in supporting our food bank and yard sale initiatives. Every contribution helps provide essential food boxes and maintains our yard sale, ensuring sustainability in aiding those in need.
Donation
Drop-off
Volunteers only accept donations when the Yard Sale is open. Deliver your donations of used household items to the warehouse at the rear of the Yard sale - volunteers will assist you.
Monetary Donations
The Blind River Food Bank is a registered, charitable corporation that is supplemented by the yard sales. The Food Bank accepts financial donations and issues receipts for income tac purposes. You may donate using the following methods : - Personal Cheque - E-transfer to blindriverfoodbank@gmail.com - Cash - Canadahelps.ca
