The Blind River Food Bank & Yard Sale

Garage Sale

Bi-Weekly Yard Sale Event

The Corporation operates a yard sale, open to the public, every Tuesday and Saturday, to raise money to support the Food Bank

Donating Items

Volunteers only accept donations when the Yard Sale is open. Deliver your donations of clean and gently used household items to the warehouse at the rear of the building. Yard sale volunteers will- assist you. 

Giving Back

All proceeds from the yard sale are used by the Corporation for food purchases, facility rental and utilities.

We do not take e-transfers, credit cards or debit.  We only take cash as payment for items purchased.

Hours

Saturdays 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Tuesdays 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Items we DO NOT Accept

  • Baby Cribs, Out of Date Child Car Seats and High Chairs

  • Mattresses, Box Springs, Bed Frames, Sofa Beds, Futons, Futon Mattresses

  • Gas Appliances - Washing Machines, Dryers, Dishwashers, Stoves, Refrigerators, Freezers

  • Pianos, Organs

  • Exercise Machines

  • Water Beds, Inflatable Pools

  • Carpet, Underpads

  • Hardwood Flooring, Floor Tiles

  • Paint, Chemicals, Cleaners

  • Commodes, Toilets, Raised Toilet Seats, Urinals

  • Doors, Windows, Screens

  • Kitchen Cabinets, Countertops, Sinks

  • Old Technology (including Televisions, Computers and Cords)

  • Encyclopedias

  • Clothing, Shoes

  • Damaged, Torn, Ripped or Dirty Items
